Joy the Baker, Emma the gazer

I could look at food blogs all day, it's true. My sister showed me Joy the Baker when she was home over Christmas, and I just discovered that her cookbook came out last month - hooray! Anything that is subtitled "A celebration of butter and sugar" has already won my heart.

Strawberry trifle? Yes, please!

I've recently given up chocolate and candy for Lent. The first three days, I realized just how much I ate the two... and just how much my roommates could have killed me due to my lack of sugar. 

Post-Easter, I can promise this strawberry trifle will be on my list of baking-musts!
