Themed blogs...?

Hello, friends! I have been reading quite a few blogs lately. My personal favorite is by Joanna Goddard (Thanks for sharing the find, sister!). It's called a Cup of Jo, and she covers everything from what to buy your dad for Father's Day to what all the moms are wearing (evidently silk slings are very in at the playground with the youngen's).

Anywho! It got me thinking that most blogs have a theme... So, music blog? Food blog? Organized chaos blog? How is a girl to choose!? I don't have the mom thing going for me, so I guess that narrows out one category! I'd say help me out, but seeing as my mom is my one and only follower, maybe I should make it a dogs and scrap-booking-themed blog. (Love ya, Ma! ;)) Or how about a blog about people that scrap-book their dogs! Excellent.

And on that note, I am off to enjoy a delicious mexican dinner with a friend! Looks like a food blog might be the way to go, after all!

Cognac and Socks

Cleaning movie theaters this Summer has showed me just how messy some people can be! Oy. Alas, I have decided that people don't get paid to throw their popcorn out. So, there is not much incentive beyond the kindness in their heart to clean up after themselves.

Every once in awhile, I'll find a quarter or... Well, actually, finding money is probably the only thing that makes cleaning theaters tolerable.

That being said, I found the most hilarious items yet all Summer: socks and a bottle of cognac (not in the same theater). Who leaves socks in a movie theater!? I was wondering - did they bring them with in case their feet got cold? Did they take them off mid-movie and left them there? Do they have OCD and wore them on their hands when they used the bathroom? Guess I'll never know. And to be perfectly honest, I'm surprised I haven't found more alcohol with all the hoodlums runnin' around these days.

Maybe tomorrow I'll find more than $1.25, but for now, tonight's finds have me laughin'!

Eliza Doolittle

Every once in awhile, YouTube makes an EXCELLENT video suggestion. This jam is my new fave. Something about the bow ties, whistling, ukelele and the fact that she's british make for an excellent tune!

Breakfast at noon

I could eat breakfast all day everyday! This morning, I made a delicious little frittata for one. It included sauteed onions and peppers mixed with southwestern style egg beaters and shredded cheese. Yum!

This photo isn't mine, but it looks delicious, no?

I'm still trying to figure out how to embed links in words... But check out this on flickr!

"Her Morning Elegance"

I'm in love with this video (can you imagine how long it took to make?). The song never gets old, and those cute little sock fish get me every time!

Shoes

I quite like these shoes. They're from Keds (Did you know they are credited with making the first "sneaker"?). I'm normally anti-high tops. Although these are labeled as boots. So, I could make an exception, right?

Funny 'mallows

Have you seen these new flat marshmallows? Crazy!
I think I still prefer the traditional ones for s'mores, but what a cool idea.
